Hailing from the badlands of Mexico,
and inspired by the Mexican folk legend of the same name, Chupacabra was introduced to the world by fellow Norcal rudo, El Ranchero, who acted as his handler at the time. After undergoing months of psychological abuse by
Ranchero, 'Chupi' eventually liberated himself from his tormentor, and began a
successful run as a fan favorite. It was at this time that Chupacabra caught the eye of the
Lucha Libre Mafia, a stable of masked deviants who are always looking to strengthen their ranks. Although he wanted nothing to do
with them, the Mafia was able to book Chupacabra in a stipulation match against a female opponent, with a condition that if he lost, he would be forced to join them. After an interference by members of the LLM who were hiding underneath the ring, Chupi reluctantly joined the Mafia.
After eventually breaking free of the LLM stable, Chupacabra enjoyed a
lengthy run as a tecnico. It was only recently that he was
returned to his rudo roots, rejoining the Lucha Libre Mafia after
assisting them during a recent SPW battle royal in an effort to destroy
the Mafia outcast, Jesus 'Brownsnake' Kruze.Chupacabra has had brutal encounters all over California, competing against wrestlers with many different styles. Having a wide repertoire of moves himself, it's no surprise that he is inspired by the likes of Blue Panther, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and the original, Santo. Of all of his various opponents, he sites his matches against indy phenom, G.S.W.A. Baby Ray as his best. Destroying opponents across Northern California, you can catch this monster in action in several different federations, including Supreme Pro Wrestling, and West Coast Pro Wrestling. |
