An awesome, although temporarily confusing show this week. Vampiro returned to CMLL TV, sporting a Scott Weiland-esque haircut, and cut a 'glad-to-be-home' promo. An awesome Torneo Cibernetico also aired, featuring many luchadores who had been absent from CMLL programming in the last few months, including Santo, Damien 666 and Nicho. The main event was barn burner, as two of the greatest trios teams (and my personal favorites) collided in a battle for the belts. |

The main event was like butta'! The age old battle between the dominating veteranos and the hungry youngbloods got the lucha treatment, ending in a huge brawl with Juventud Guerrera, Mr. Niebla and Antifaz getting involved. The bump Tarzan took to the outside over the ringpost has to be one of the most hardcore things I've seen in lucha libre. Hopefully, these two teams will meet again in the near future. The Torneo Cibernetico was a great change of pace for the longer-than-usual show, and hopefully doesn't mark the end of Mascara Magica's push. I especially liked the move Damien used to finish off Mephisto (what the hell would you call
that?), and I cringed when Volador Jr's dumped Nicho on his neck with his german
suplex.
