It was business as usual last night during CMLL's uneven lucha offering. On one side, the unlikely trio of Ultimo Guerrero, Black Warrior and Negro Casas had an awesome match with the invading Japanese. On the other, we begin to sympathize for Gigante Silva when we realize just how bad Gigante Singh is. |

Some people have asked me, "Rob...how am I supposed to know when something is sick or not?" To them, I refer to the gentlemen in the crowd last night who danced around while wearing a gorilla suit. That, my friend, is sick. With the exception of Giant Singh, I really like the New Japan invasion. The Warrior/Ultimo/Casas vs. Tiger/Masada/Takemura match was outstanding. I was a little inebriated while watching the show last night, but at the time I was convinced that it was ****. It was one of the great matches where EVERYBODY involved looked really good. I especially liked the exchanges between Black Warrior/Ultimo Guerrero and Black Tiger. And to anybody who doesn't dig Black Tiger's style, you should probably turn your TV off and look into treating your alcoholism problem. The man is lightning fast, and his moves are super-fucking-crisp.
